THE WORD
is
Jesus Christ Son of the Living God
and
The Word Is Also God's Good News Message To All Mankind How A Sinner Can Be Forgiven Of His Sins And Be Given Eternal Life In God's Kingdom.

God's Miraculous Power Is Promised Through His WORD To enable Man To Understand God's message and help him to do what that message commands of him.

God's Power is the promised help from God through the gift of His Holy Spirit to turn sinners from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God and His saving power, Acts. 26:18. This is the promise and will of God, the Father, through  THE WORD.

          1.  WHAT does THE WORD tell us how  one receives God's Power?

In Acts 1:8 ---"But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit  is come upon you; and you shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, Judaea,Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

          2. How does one receive God's Holy Spirit?

God's WORD says in Acts2:38 --- " Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins , and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

           3.  What does  The WORD Jesus Christ tell us what one must repent of in his life in order to have his sins forgiven?

In Acts3: Peter said -- "Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,--" This means to repent of your sins and be converted from the sinful ways of the flesh to the spiritual ways of the Spirit through the obeying of God's law.

           4.  What is sin?

THE WORD in James 3:4 says"whosoever commits sin trangresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

           5.  What is the law that people transgress that God's Word says is sin?

A lawyer of the Parisees asked Jesus what is the great commandment of the  law, Mat. 22:36-40?  " Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38, This is the first and great commandment. 39, and the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." God's10 commandments describe and define these two great commandments and are the commandments that Jesus Christ told a person that he must keep in order to enter into eternal life, Mat. 19:16-17. "And, behold, one came and said unto Jesus Christ, Good Master what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? Verse 17 and He said unto him, why callest you me good? there is nome good but one, that is God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments." God's 10 commandments is God's law and are to be obeyed in order to be accepted by Jesus Christ for forgivenness of one's sins.

Obeying God's 10 commandments is the fruit of repentance and the fruit of conversion. Conversion is changing one's life of   following his own way of living his life by his own standards of conduct to living his life by the 10 commandments, the standards of behavior that God commands of His children.  Love is the fruit of God's power in action produced in a saint of Jesus Christ. Power through God's Spirit helps a person obey God's 10 commandments which produces love in a son or child of God.

It is clear that Christ, who is THE WORD, commands the keeping of His 10 commandments as the laws man is to keep in order to love God with all one's heart, with all one's soul (one's life), and with all one's mind and to love one's neighbor as yourself, I John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments. verse 3 For this is the love of God that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not grievous." God promises through HIS WORD to give every repentant person help through His awesome great and mighty power generated by  being given the gift of God's Holy Spirit.

God's Holy Spirit is promised and given to a person who is truly repentent of breaking His 10 commandments and accepts Jesus Christ as his sacrifice to cover and justify one's past sins. This can all take place through understanding Christ's Gospel and the power of His Gospel.

This is the Good News, the Gospel of the Kingdom  for those who understand and desire eternal life. This is the message of Christ  through His WORD.  This is not the message that today's preachers preach. They preach that Jesus Christ did away with God's commandments and law at His Death. This is a lie and can not be found to be in any part of God's WORD.
